From a London Flat to a Global Education Platform
MissTamma Academy was born in the summer of 2023, when a group of AI researchers and educators recognised a critical gap in the market. While artificial intelligence tools were becoming increasingly powerful and accessible, the educational resources available to professionals were fragmented, overly theoretical, and often months behind the rapidly evolving technology landscape.
Our founding team — comprising machine learning engineers from leading London fintech companies, creative directors who had pioneered AI-assisted design workflows, and experienced educators with backgrounds in adult learning theory — came together with a shared conviction: that high-quality, practical AI education should be available to everyone, regardless of their technical background.
We started with a single course on prompt engineering fundamentals, offered to a cohort of just forty-two students from our co-working space in Covent Garden. The response was remarkable. Within three months, word-of-mouth referrals had filled six more cohorts, and we knew we had found our calling. Those original forty-two students reported an average productivity increase of 35% within their first month of applying the techniques they had learned.
Today, MissTamma Academy serves over four thousand students across twenty-eight countries. Our course catalogue has expanded to cover the most impactful AI tools on the market, including Anthropic's Claude, Midjourney, and the innovative Nano Banana framework. Learn
Each module begins with clearly structured conceptual instruction delivered through high-definition video lessons, annotated demonstrations, and comprehensive written guides. Our instructors explain not just what to do, but why it works, giving you a mental model that transfers across tools and contexts. Concepts are presented in carefully sequenced layers, building complexity gradually so that even advanced topics feel approachable.
Apply
Immediately after learning a concept, you apply it through guided exercises that mirror real professional scenarios. These exercises include detailed requirements, success criteria, and self-assessment rubrics. You will work through problems drawn from actual industry use cases, such as drafting marketing copy with Claude, creating brand imagery with Midjourney, or deploying an inference endpoint with Nano Banana. Each exercise comes with a model solution for comparison.
Create
The final phase of each module challenges you to synthesise what you have learned by creating a complete, original project. Unlike the guided exercises, these creative challenges provide only a brief and open-ended objective. You must make your own design decisions, troubleshoot unexpected problems, and produce a finished deliverable that meets professional standards. These projects form the core of your portfolio and demonstrate genuine competence to future employers or clients.
